This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classifications (HubZone, 8(a), small disadvantaged, veteran-owned, service-disabled veteran-owned, woman owned, etc.) relative to NAICS Code 811219, Medical and Surgical Equipment Repair and Maintenance Services, size standard $6.0 million. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 22, is seeking qualified resources to provide preventative maintenance inspections and maintenance services on Government-owned audiology equipment such as audiometers, middle ear analyzers, hearing aid test systems, sound level meters, acoustic appraisers, audioscopes, dosimeters, acoustic test systems, and acoustic booths from various manufacturers such as Grayson Stadler, Fonix, Nicolete, Lifetech, Bruel and Kjaer, Qualitone, Beltone, Madsen, Maico, Welch Allyn, Quest, Otodynamics, Starkey, Interacustics, and Frye Electronics. The VISN 22 facilities to be serviced include locations in Southern California: Greater Los Angeles, Bakersfield, Santa Barbara, Lompoc, and San Diego areas, and in Southern Nevada: Las Vegas area. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, the Government intends to publish a solicitation online at http://www.fedbizopps.gov and in http://bos.oamm.va.gov. Responses to this Sources Sought Announcement are not adequate response to the solicitation announcement. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. No solicitation is currently available.
