Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Augusta, GA, VISN 7, contemplates negotiation of a sole source procurement with Gambro, Inc., 10810 W. Collins, Lakewood, CO 80215 to provide full maintenance, emergency service and periodic preventive maintenance inspections for Gambro Phoenix Dialysis Systems: SNPH6501/EE50335; SNPH6519/EE50336; SNPH6520/EE50337; and SNPH6521/EE50338. The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811219 with a standard size of $6 million. This Notice of Intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 10 days after publication of this synopsis. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature, detailing how their products/services meet VA requirements, to the Contracting Officer or by fax 478-274-5616. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This procurement is subject to the availablity of FY 2005 funds. Solicitation will be issued on or about November 12, 2004.
