Description

Notice of Intent to Solicit and Award a Sole Source Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business The VISN 11 Centralized Contract Service Center intends to award a contract for trash collection and removal services to be performed at the Danville Illiana VA Medical Center located at 1900 East Main Street Danville, IL 61832-5198. In general terms, the scope of the proposed contract requires a contractor to collect and dispose of trash, medical waste, cardboard, recyclables, confidential waste and paper waste. The proposed contract will include a Base year with two option years. Market research performed by the VISN 11 Centralized Contract Service Center identified only one Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business capable, interested and responsible. The solicitation and award will be made under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation part 19.106 (Sole Source Awards to Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business Concerns). If your company is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and your company is interested in providing a proposal for this type of work, your company is required to notify this office of your intent within 10 calendar days (November 16, 2004 3:00 pm local time).
