Description

Work consists of contractor furnishing all labor, material, equipment, supervision needed to perform the below work in accordance with all government and manufacturer specifications. The contractor will be required to prepare the current surface and install a pre-approved acrylic flooring system. Characteristics of the acrylic floor are as follows; Must be resistant to fuels, chemicals and oils; be seamless; no cold joints; UV resistant; able to cure completely in 1 hour or less (or a reasonably short amount of time); can be installed in a wide variety of temperatures (read: COLD) and be VOC compliant. Must be installed to a thickness of 1/8th to 3/16th of an inch. Approximate size of the installation area is 2100sf. Magnitude of this project is between $25k and $100k Contractor must include a product description of the acrylic flooring they intend to use. The Government reserves the right to reject a quoted flooring material if it does not meet up to the salient characteristics listed above. **NOTE: All contractors must be registered in the Centralized Contractor Registration (CCR) program in order to receive a contract award from any DOD activity.
