The work consists of clearing and grubbing; placing compacted levee embankment and non-compacted berm embankment, placing surfacing material on the levee crown, fertilizing, seeding and mulching, and all other incidental work th ereto, for the Atchafalaya Basin Levees, Levees West of Berwick, Wax Lake Outlet East Levee Enlargement, Baseline Station 210+25 to Baseline Station 538+00, Atchafalya Basin, Levees West of Berwick, St. Mary Parish, Louisiana. Work is estimated to cost be tween $1,000,000.00 and $5,000,000.00. Solicitation will be issued on or about 19 November, 2004. Bid opening date is 21 December, 2004, 2:00 p.m. local time. This is a 100 % hubzone set-aside procurement. Plans and Specifications will be available t o download from the WEB ONLY at http://www.mvn.usace.army.mil/EBS_Contracting/index.asp. There will be no paper copies or CDs available. YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO REGISTER AS A PLANHOLDER TO SHOW THAT YOU HAVE DOWNLOADED THE PACKAGE.
