Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 2 has a requirement for construction of a new road. The work is located at Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge, in Travis County Texas near Marble Falls, Texas. The work consists of, but may not be limited to construction of approxmateley 1,280 feet of road. This will consists of about 1100' of 16' road and an entry site of approximately 5000 sqft base course. One (1) 18" CMP culvert will be placed on the project. The configuration of the road cuts through steeper portions and will require five (5) water bars. Additionally there is a 3-strand wire fence approximately 338 '. The requirement also includes two (2) additive alternates of approzimately 1,337 each of placed base course. This requirement is a 100% set-aside for small business. The NAICS code and size standard is 237310 and $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available on or about November 22, 2004. It is anticipated that award will be made on or about December 28, 2004. Registration in Central Contractor Reporting, (CCR), is a Governmentwide requirement per Federal Acquisition Regulation, this registration can be accomplished through the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/.
