Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), St. Inigoes, MD intends to solicit a purchase order on a sole source basis with Viable Power Conversion Technologies INC., located at 2044 St. Regis Blvd, Dorval Quebec, H9P 1H6, Canada to provide multi-channel power supply to support the Interrogator Set AN/UPX-24V Field Change (FC) 5 project. The item to be procured is as follows: CLIN 0001 P/N:VTA98019-00, AC/DC Multi-Channel PSU VTA98019-00 (Qty 6). This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 256(c) and 10 U.S.C. 2034(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1, only one responsible source. The Viable Power Conversion Technologies? multi-channel power supply is the only known Government approved part capable of meeting the physical, operational, and electrical performance characteristics. The Viable Power Conversion Technologies? multi-channel power supply also fits preexisting holes in the frame of the AN/UPX-24(v). THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Interested parties may submit information within 10 days after synopsis is published and will be considered by this agency. A determination not to compete this procurement action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. The Government will not pay for any information received. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335999.
