- Description
- The United States Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Acquisition Management will issue a solicitation for a competitive 8a procurement to provide technical support services to EPA Region 1 for emergency response, removal, site assessment, and related technical and administrative services as defined in the Comprehensive Environmental Compensation, and Liability Act of 1980 (CERCLA or Superfund) as amended, the National Oil and Hazardous Substances Pollution Contingency Plan and other environmental statutes. The contractor will provide services to support response and site assessment activities related to the release or threat of release of oil, petroleum products, hazardous substances, weapons of mass destruction or pollutants and contaminants, that pose an actual or potential threat to human health or welfare, or to the environment. More specific tasks the contractor will perform are Response Activities (Removal Actions, PRP Removal Actions, Minor Containment), Assessment Activities (Pre-CERCLIS Screening, Removal Assessment, PA's, SI's, PA/SI's, SIP's, Site Reassessments, ESI's and Brownfields Assessments), and Technical Support Activities (Public Participation Support, Site Discovery Programs, Administrative Records Support, Enforcement Support, General Technical Support). It is the Government's intent to award a Fixed-Rate, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a 60 month period of performance. The ceiling of this contract will be $7,500,000. Request for proposal PR-HQ-04-10200 will be released 15 days from the date of this synopsis. A definite due date for proposals will be established at that time.
