Description

Tobyhanna Army Depot intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with DIT-MCO International, 5612 Brighton Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64130 to provide one Model 2508 high density switching with a double bay cabinet providing 10,000 points. Included in the requirement is a computer assembly, 1.44 Mb (3-1/2 in.) Floppy Drive, 256 MB RAM, Recordable CD-RW ROM, one (1) Serial Port, two (2) Parallel Ports (IEEE 1284 compliant EPP/ECP/SPP), 15 in. LCD Monitor, Mouse, Keyboard, Windows XP Professional, Input P ower 110/220 VAC; 4 each S17 HD 2,000 Point Switch Module with 50 pin Amphenal connector panels; 80 each switching cards, 100 points; 1 each MSC I/O panel for external switching; 1 MSC Configurable PCDA modification for continuous addressing; interconnect cables; input power 115 volt, single-phase, 50/60 Hz; SSC Configurable PCDA modification for continuous addressing; and manuals. This action is restricted to the DIT MCO system described based upon compatibility and interchangeability requirements with ex isting equipment, Test Program Sets, cables, software and hardware. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. A determination by the Govern ment not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive p rocurement. This action will be pursued under FAR Parts 12 and 13.5 (section 4202 of the Clinger-Cohen Act of 1996).
