Description

This procurement will be for the supply of six stainless steel roller chains and upper cap roller tracks for the intake headgates at McNary Dam with options to procure up to nine additional roller chains and upper cap roller tracks and individual com ponents. Each roller chain will consist of 250 rollers, roller shafts, pairs of side bars and retaining rings. Each roller chain will be approximately 110 feet long and weigh approximately 4800 pounds. The roller chains will be assembled and delivered t o McNary Dam as subassemblies of 25 sets of rollers, pins, links, and retaining rings. The upper caps are structural steel fabrications, painted with vinyl paint. Period of performance for delivery of the base contract six headgate roller chain assembli es with spare parts and six upper cap assemblies with shims and hardware is 120 days following contract award. Options may be exercised through 31 Aug 2005. The supply contract will be a fixed-price. All supplies will be delivered FOB McNary Lock and Da m, Umatilla, OR. All responsible sources may submit a bid that shall be considered. ADMIN INFO: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333613. The small business size standard is 500 employees. This project is UNRESTRICTED a nd is open to both large and small business concerns. Issue date on or about 24 Nov 2004.
