Description

The VA Puget Sound Health Care Systems intends to negotiate a sole source contract with the Northwest Kidney Center, Seattle, Washington, to provide Peritoneal Dialysis services to beneficiaries of the VA, at the VA, utilizing contractor's staff and equipment for peritoneal Dialysis. This procurement is being conducted in accordance FAR 6.302 - only one responsible source and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. NAICS 621492. To the best of our knowledge, the Northwest Kidney Center is the only vendor that can provide this specific type of service. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer within ten (10) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail, to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer (S-138-P&C), VA Puget Sound Health Care System, 1660 South Columbian Way, Seattle, Washington, 98108 or via fax to (206) 764-2565. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the VA PSHCS will proceed with the sole source negotiation with the Northwest Kidney Center, Seattle.
