- The Government intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price type of contract for the procurement of maintenance of (7) Data Processing Systems manufactured by Dejarnette Research Systems located at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth, Diagnostic Radiology Department. This requirement includes on-site corrective repairs, normal working hour coverage (8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. Monday through Friday excluding Federal Holidays) or 24-hour emergency service and routine preventive maintenance services to Department of Defense owned equipment. It shall include all systems, subsystem components, and assemblies that were part of the original system purchased. All maintenance provisions shall apply to hardware, firmware, and software, as appropriate, unless otherwise stated. FOB point is destination. The resulting contract will be for the base period of 01 Jan 2005? 30 Sep 2005, with four one-year options. This requirement is a follow-on to N00189-00-P-0861 awarded to DeJarnette Resear! ch Systems, 401 Washington Avenue, Suite 1010, Baltimore, Maryland 21204. The proposed requirement will utilize procedures under FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. When the Request for Quote (RFQ) is issued, it may be downloaded by accessing http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The applicable NAICS Code is 811219. This office no longer issues hardcopy solicitations. By submitting a quote, the offeror will be self certifying that neither the principal corporate officials or owners are currently suspended, debarred or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any Federal Agency. NO SOLICITATION EXISTS AT THIS TIME. The RFQ will be issued on or about 15 Nov 04 with a response date of 30 Nov 04. The Contracting Officer reserves the right to conduct verbal or written discussions with respect to other than price with the offerrors at anytime prior to award.
