Description
A MARKET SURVEY is being conducted for planning purposes to seek companies with the equipment listed below. All interested contractors should show the annual rate for listed equipment and notify this office in writing by mail or fax by 22 November 2 004, 4:30 PM, NY local time. This is a market survey only. The government does not intend to solicit this component as a stand-alone independent contract action. This is NOT a request to respond to a solicitation. Email or fax your questions to US Army Engineer District, New York - Military at myrlande.lee@usace.army.mil. IDC: 58 Equipment Descriptions (2) Range Azimuth - Trimble 5600 robotic total stations. Robotic total stations are used for both land and hydrographic surveys. On land they act like a total stations automatically tracking the rod man on water they provide x,y position to the survey vess el. (2)D.G.P.S. Receivers - Trimble NT300D differential Global Positioning Receivers. These are used to provide x,y position to any type of survey vessel or vehicle. (3) Small Boat w/trailer - 17' Boston Whaler, 13' Sears Game Fisher, 10' Quick Silver Rigid Hull Inflatable. These vessel's are typically used in small creeks and rivers. The on-board survey equipment is typically installed on board for each project. (1) 24' Survey Boat - 24' Glacier Bay Catamaran Fin Kennedy a fully equipped survey vessel. The vessel has installed on board - Trimble NT300D D.G.P.S receiver for x,y position, a Innersapce Model 448 single frequency survey fathometer, a TSS DMS 25 motion sensor for vessel heave, pitch and roll, Coastal Oceanographic's Hypack Software running on an on board PC for data collection. (1) 36' Survey Boat - 36' Custom Built Silverships Catamaran Red Rogers a fully equipped multibeam survey vessel. The vessel has installed on-board - Reson 8101 multibeam system with 210? beam angle and sidescan option, TSS POS MV for vessel position, heav e, pitch and roll. Coastal Oceanographic's Hysweep Software running on an on board PC for data collection. (5) Survey Vehicle - Ford E350, Fully equipped full size van. Equipped for all types of land surveys. (5) Total Station - (2) Leica TCRA (3) Leica T1000 total stations with on-board data collection, used for all types of land surveys. (1)Survey Fathometer - Raytheon 719C single frequency survey fathometer. (2) Sea Sled - Thomas Marine Sea Sled used for beach profiles, typically towed by LARCV. (2) All Terrain Vehicle - (1) Kawasaki Prairie 400. (1) Argo Conquest amphibious vehicle with tracks. These vehicles are typically used to facilitate the collection of topographic data on land, water, creeks and marshes. (2) LARCV - Consolidated Diesel Lighter Amphibious Re-supply Cargo 5 tons Hull Numbers 261 and 288. These vessels are used for beach surveys they are typically used to tow sea sleds, which are used to collect beach profile data. (1)Complete Multibeam System - Reson 8101 Mutibeam, TSS POS MV, Coastal Oceanographics Hysweep Software, Trimble Pro Beacon receiver. This equipment is installed on-board the Red Rogers but is removable. This equipment is used to collect multibeam hydrographic data.
