- This requirement in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport. A written solicitation has also been issued and is available on line at http://www-keyport.kpt.nuwc.navy.mil/NECO/solicitation.htm The RFQ (request for quote) is posted electronically on the NUWC Division Keyport, Acquisition Division website. Offerors wishing to submit an offer are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website and to frequently monitor the site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to jwalls@kpt.nuwc.navy.mil will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the Keyport website. The solicitation number for this requirement issued as a RFQ is N00253-05-Q-0034. The applicable NAICS Code for this requirement is 334419 and a size standard of 500. The contract line items are: CLIN 0001 - 50 each solenoid activate rotary switch c! onforming to Navy drawing 6579631 Revision A, and CLIN 0002 ? 1 lot associated cad plating. Note that this drawing is restricted for distribution only to vendors who are currently registered with DLIS (defense Logistics Info Svc Joint Certification Program (JCP). Their phone: 888-352-9333, e-mail www.dlis.dla.mil/jcp/. Drawings reference milspec (military specifications). This info can be accessed on line at: http://assist.daps.dla.mil/ and this site offers electronic copies. Delivery shall be FOB Destination - Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport, Keyport, WA 98345 with Inspection and Acceptance at Destination before May 5, 2005. This solicitation closes November 22, 2004. The contract resulting from this solicitation will be awarded based on the following evaluation factors: (1) Technical: Offers must provide the items associated with the drawing set forth in the solicitation and any subsequent amendments. (2) Price: Award will be made based on price and ! the following price evaluation factors: Single Award for All Items. (3) Delivery: Offerors must meet the required delivery date. (4) Responsibility: Offerors must meet the standard for FAR 9.104. Quotes/Offers are due no later than Monday, 22 Nov 04, 1600 hours Pacific Time. The Defense Priorities and Allocations System (DPAS) applicable assigned rating for this requirement is DO-C9E. Commercial Simplified Acquisition Procedures shall be used for this procurement. Award will be made on, or about 23 November 2004. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ/amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to this notice or the electronically posted RFQ and any associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotes may render vendor offer non-responsive and result in rejection of the same. Firm! s interested in submitting quotes must (1) complete the pricing for both CLINs providing unit prices and extended pricing, (2) complete all representations and certifications found in the required clauses, ensure current registration in the DoD Central Contractor Registration database (http://www.ccr.gov), and provide faxed or e-mailed certified copy of DD form 2345, Militarily Critical Technical Data Agreement to obtain drawing 6579631.
