Description

The Bureau of Land Management, California State Office has a requirement for a Contractor to provide services to assist California BLM in developing data sets for Fire Program Analysis-Preparedness Module (FPA-PM) and assist BLM field personnel within the Fire Planning Units (FPU) through the Fire Program Analysis-Preparedness Module/Historical Analysis (FPA-PM/HA) process. Planning support will require consultation, facilitation and coordination with the BLM Offices within the State of California to collaboratively develop FMP/FPA data that reflect the units existing fire management plans and or modification and or update of these existing plans to allow for effective and efficient transition to and facilitation of the final Fire Program Analysis -Preparedness Module and FPA Phase II. The requirement will be set-aside 100% for small business concerns under NAICS Code 115310, Support Activities for Forestry with a size standard of $6.0 Million. The solicitation will be issued as a competitive request for quotes (RFQ) requiring the contractor to provide a performance-based service contract quotation in accordance with FAR Part 13, simplified acquisition procedures. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be posted on the federal web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or around December 8, 2004, under RFQ number BAQ050002. Interested parties may obtain an electronic copy of the solicitation, including the schedule of services; specification; evaluation and award criteria and factors; contract terms and conditions, by going directly to this site. No hard copies will be made available.
