- Description
- The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, tools, transportation, and equipment necessary to maintain and repair the maximum security traffic barriers. The work shall include preventative maintenance (PM) under the Firm- Fixed Price portion of the contract and repair/alteration of equipment and system components under the Indefinite Quantity portion of the contract. The preventative maintenance tasks shall be performed monthly and annually. Preventative maintenance frequencies are based on manufacturer?s recommended requirements and/or the usage in keeping with the operational standards of each piece of equipment. Measurements and quantities are approximate, therefore, the Contractor shall field verify all areas in the scope of work. All PM work shall be complete and equipment ready for use upon completion of scheduled PM?s. Task Orders (TOs) will be issued to order repair/alteration work. Equipment not included in this contract includes traffic warning lights and their controls not associated with the barrier system. The proposed contract will be a combination Firm-Fixed Price/Indefinite Quantity contract. The Government has the option to extend the term of the contract services for additional periods of one to twelve months. The total contract term, including exercise of any options shall not exceed sixty (60) months. This procurement is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310 and the size standard is $6 million. The approximate solicitation release date is November 30, 2004. This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in the Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format via the Internet.
