ISSUE DATE: 11/22/04 POSTED DATE: 11/22/04 TITLE: Intent to Award Sole Source Contract SOL: 10N3-076-05 DUE: 12/16/05 NAICS: 811219 POP: Not Specified AGENCY: Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 130W Kingsbridge Rd., 9th Floor, Room 9B-16, Bronx, NY 10468 POC: Greg Vogt DESCRIPTION: The Bronx VA Medical Center (VISN3) Business Service Center has requirement for preventative maintenance for the Kodak Dryview Laser Imager System at the NY Harbor Healthcare System located at 423 East 23rd St., New York, NY 11209. This procurement is a sole source for Eastman Kodak Company Imagining Systems located at 343 State St., Rochester, NY 14652. The vendor shall provide all equipment, parts, supplies and travel, in accordance with all contract terms and conditions. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.301-1. The authority cited and justification made is based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by the equipment available from one source. One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. NAICS code is 811219, size standard is $6.0 million applies. Anticipated period of performance is Date of Award thru September 30, 2005 with provisions for four (4) one year options to extend. This is a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract. Contract award is subject to availability of funds. Solicitation packages are not available and telephone requests will not be honored. This notice is for information only and may represent the only official notice of such solicitation. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition is based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Electronic bids will not be accepted. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments.
