- The U.S. Coast Guard is looking for certified Total Small Business Set-Aside firms that may be interested and have the capabilities to perform drydock and repairs to USCGC BARRACUDA (WPB 87301), an 87? patrol boat, homeported in Eureka, CA. The vessel?s availability is for forty-one (41) calendar days, starting 11 May 2005 through 21 June 2005. The work will include, but is not limited to; production control GANTT Bar chart, provide; fire watches, hull plating, underwater body inspect, ultrasonic testing, preserve (100%), voids (non-accessible) leak test, air test, pilothouse coaming removal, hawse pipe extension, fathometer transducers general maintenance, sea valve (<=2.5 inches) renewal, sea valve (>2.5 inches) overhaul, rudder stock bearings check clearances, stern ladder replacement, bilges (machinery space) preserve, forepeak preservation, cathodic protection, zinc anode renewal, deck covering (interior polymeric) renew, temporary services, drydock provide, sea trials, drydocking accomplished. The Total Small Business Set-Aside f firm must meet the requirements per the FAR 52.219-14. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement will be 336611 with a size standard of less than 1,000 employees.
