Description: Pierside availability of Training Ship Golden Bear in Vallejo Ca. Perform ship repair, upgrade, and maintenance in accordance with the Statement of Work for the ship's upkeep, annual hull, loadline, and machinery surveys, and USCG COI renewal. A formal Shipcheck is scheduled for December 14th, 2004 in Vallejo at 1300 HOURS. All bidders are to contact COTR Dennis Gleavy at Dennis.gleavy@Marad.dot.gov by 10 December with notice of intent to shipcheck. Anticipated start date of the work onboard is 11 Jan 2005. Anticipated completion date for the onboard work is 18 March 2005. A one-day sea trial is tentatively scheduled for 26 March 2004. Some work may require attendance at the sea trials. A solicitation will be available early December 2004.
