Description

Project 502-301 Architect Engineer Services to design and furnish plans, specifications and construction period services for renovation of building no. 6 for primary care clinics project at Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana. Work includes but not limited to design and construction period services to completely gut and remodel 4 floors of Bldg. No. 6, approximately 30,000 total square feet. Work involves architectural, lead and asbestos abatement, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire alarm, elevator and parking lot. A complete scope of work will be provided upon request. A/E selection based on recent specialized experience, professional capacity to accomplish work, professional qualifications of staff and consultants assigned to the project, proposed management plan, cost control, estimating effectiveness, schedule control and location of the A/E firm and consultants. Area of consideration is restricted to A/E firms and consultants within a 100 mile radius driving distance from 2495 Shreveport Highway, Pineville, Louisiana. This notice issued subject to availability of funds and is not a request for proposal. The estimated construction cost range is $2,000,000 to $5,000,000. Interested firms should submit two copies of current form SF-330 to Attn: Herman Chelette, Contracting Officer (90C), VA Medical Center, P O Box 69004, Alexandria, LA 71306-9005 NLT 4:30 pm local time on 1-3-05 in accordance with numbered note 24.
