- ANNOUNCEMENT TO FEDBIZOPPS REQ #: 05-2302-0044 ACTION: 66 - Instruments and Laboratory Equipment CONTACT: Elise Berens The U.S. Geological Survey, Patuxent Wildlife Research Center located in Laurel, Maryland has a requirement for four (4) cold storage units. The deliverable is four (4) fully installed, fully operational and tested leak free cold storage units (2 freezers and 2 coolers) set up in the designated location on PWRC. The storage is for science purposes and serves to preserve valuable samples, carcasses, feed and other science project related items and materials. USGS requires a vendor to deliver, install and make fully operational a total of 4 outdoor cold storage units, 2 of which will be freezers and 2 of which will be refrigerated units. Firms who feel that they can furnish the required items based on the RFQ 05ERQQ0013 are invited to submit in writing an affirmative response to this announcement. THIS ACQUSITION WILL BE MADE UNDER THE SIMPLIFIED ACQUISITION THRESHOLD OF $100,000.00. The NAICS code is 423440. Quotes are due at 2:00PM on 12/14/04. The anticipated award date is 12/21/04. All responsible sources who have a valid Dun and Bradstreet Number may submit a quotation.
