- REQUEST FOR QUOTES (RFQ) IS ISSUED - ONLY WRITTEN OR FAXED REQUESTS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THE SOLICITATION PACKAGE, NO EXCEPTIONS - FAX NO. 602/ 379-6763, Attention - Paul Robinson, Contract Specialist. PROJECT: Remove and dispose of five (5) PCB transformers, twenty (20) drums of excavated soils, one (1) drum of PCB containing transformer oil, one (1) 13'x4' transformer platform and three (3) drums of non-transformer wastes; the PCB contamination is soils caused by the leaking BIA transformer at project site which requires further assessment and cleanup - for competitive bid purposes, an approximate are of 10'x30'x5' (56 cubic yards) may be assumed contaminated. For site visit, contact Mr. Neil Messer, Supervisory Electrical Engineer, BIA Colorado River Agency, Parker, AZ., Phone 928/ 669-7126. ISSUE DATE FOR THE RFQ IS 12-07-2004. CLOSING DATE for receipt of Quotes IS 12-28-2004, Tuesday, Close of Business. Estimated Cost Range for the project is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
