- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation: firm-fixed price proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is NAMA-05-Q-0007 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-14 effective June 23, 2003. The Government reserves the right to make an award on the initial quote without discussions of this procurement. Award will be based on a best value determination, price and other factors considered. Other factors for award include past performance and a responsible offerors ability to meet the salient functional and technical requirements as listed below. GENERAL: This purchase description requires licenses, maintenance, and support (training, onsite consulting, technical support) for access and use of SUNOPSIS software. This software will be used to design, develop, and test in a development environment for users in U.S. or UK. Future purchase may be made for licenses, maintenance, and support for activities in test and production environments (Primary, Standby/Failover). REQUIREMENT: 1. Quantity: 1 license for SUNOPSIS Workgroup Edition software. This software must be version 3 or higher and include One Sunopsis Security Manager, One Sunopsis Scheduler - One Sunopsis Work Repository - Unlimited Sunopsis Agents, Platform-independent price model - Unlimited simultaneous connections to any type of source and target database servers 2. Quantity: 2 license for addtional SUNOPSIS designer seat 3. Quantity: 1 license for additional Sunopsis Work Repository 4. Provide 5 days of onsite product training to users in Sheffield England, UK 5. Provide 10 days of onsite technical consulting to users in Sheffield England, UK or College Park, Maryland, US as needed. For unused days, credit account at the end of the year. 6. Annual Maintenance support must include 24/7 technical support for existing products and upgrades to products already purchased. Vendor must except direct deposit for payment via electronic funds transfer. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and are to remain in full force in any resultant fixed price purchase order: Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer Other than Central Contractor Registration, 52.232-36 Payment by Third party, and 52.233-3 Protest After Award.
