Description

North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 331316 . This procurement action is for the purchase of various aluminums as follows: 1,308 feet of Aluminum Round Stock 3 5/8 inch dia by 12 feet long, 6061-T6 extruded per ASTM-B221, 8,28 0 feet of Aluminum, 6061, T6 Drawn Seamless Tubing OD .740 min to .760 max; ID. 343 min to .363 max; .3429 wall thickness 12 foot straight lengths, Material certified to ASTM-B210, 1,584 feet of Aluminum Round Stock 2 5/8 inch dia by 12 foot long, 6061-T6, Extruded per ASTM-B211, 3,936 feet of Aluminum Alloy 3 5/8 inch dia rod in 12 foot lengths, 7075-T76 Bar, Spec ASTM-B221 or 7075-T-651 Bar, Spec ASTM B211, 4,752 feet of Aluminum Alloy 1 3/8 inch dia bar in 12 foot lengths, 7075-T6 Bar, Spec ASTM-B221 or 7075 T-651 Rod, Spec ASTM-B211. Quantity variations of 100 percent per line item will be applicable. FOB Destination, Crane Army Ammunition Activity, Crane, IN. Delivery of aluminum bar shall be approx 5 weeks after date of contract award and for alumi num tubing approx 12 weeks after date of contract award. This will be a firm fixed price contract. All contractors who provide good/services to the DOD will be registered in the Central Contractors Register (CCR). You may register via the Internet at ht tp://www.ccr.gov/ or contact the CCR at 1-888-227-2423. Approx issued date is 17 Dec 2004 with opening date approximately 7 days from issue. The solicitation shall be issued via the Internet at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ and http://www.eps.gov . Any changes to the solicitation shall also be posted to these web sites and is the contractors responsibility to check these sites daily for any posted changes.
