- This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce On Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Naval Sea Systems Command. The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to modify contract N00024-03-C-6207 to Raytheon Company, 1847 West Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871, to procure additional supplies/services as follows: Multi-year Shipsets 6 through 10, Virginia Class Combat Control (CC) subsystems and equipment, including the CC Data Manager units (5100 and 5110); Power Distribution Units (5007 and 5008); Weapons Launch Console units (5201-5206); Long Lead Time Material and Spares in support of new construction. Manuf! acturing and Assembly Labor will also be included to support the Multi-year procurement strategy. As the designer, developer, and producer of the Virginia Combat Control System, only Raytheon Company possess a thorough knowledge of this complex system?s design and manufacture which is critical to meeting the requirements and schedule. The contract will be issued pursuant to 10 I.S.C. 2304(c)(1). This synopsis is for informational purposes only. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the source identified herein. See Numbered Note 22.
