Description
NOTE dated 12/29/04: Offerors are requested to view Attachment A001. Questions on this SIR shall be in writing and directed to Maria.S.Blair@faa.gov No Later Than January 5, 2005. Interested offerors who can comply with and meet the requirements addressed in the SIR should respond by the closing date of January 7, 2005, in writing with the required documentation to the Contracting Officer per the instructions in SF 33. Any amendment(s) issued to this SIR will be published on this website. Therefore, it is the offerors responsibility to visit this website frequently for updates on this procurement. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement for Six Sigma and Lean Training: Master Black Belt, Black Belt and Green Belt. Green Belt and Black Belt training will be held at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Oklahoma City, OK. The Master Black Belt training will be held at the contractor's facility. The FAA contemplates the award of an Indefinite Delivery/Definite Quantity contract with fixed unit prices, with a base year and three (3) one-year options for the acquisition of this training. The number of classes to be held will be two Green Belt classes each year; two Black Belt classes each year; and one Master Black Belt class each year. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 611430. The FAA will assess the capabilities of the training provider to meet the FAA's requirements. An award will be made to the responsible, technically acceptable offeror submitting the lowest evaluated price in accordance with the terms of the RFO/SIR. NOTE on 12/16/04: All required documents are attached. Offerors should respond with hard copies to the Contracting Officer per the instructions in SF 33.
