Description

In support of the USS Essex LHD2 and the ship repair facility (SRF) Sasebo, the Fleet Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound is procuring repair parts for the main lube oil service system (NAVSEA Drawing 262-7602256). Items include various sizes of pipes, valves, elbows, tees, flanges, laterals, and weld rings. This procurment action is conducted under FAR parts 12 and 13.5. This acquisition is set aside exlusively for small business under NAICS 331491, business size 750. The small business administrations nonmanufacturer rule class waiver dated 2 December 2004 is in effect. All items are required to be delivered, FOB Destination, to Travis Air Force Base, California no later than 31 January 2005. Copies of MIL/FED specs, QPL, may be obtained from the ASSIST database on the Internet at http://assist.daps.mil.All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by FISCPS. This solicitation and any subsequent amendments will be posted to the NECO website: http://www.neco.navy.mil. Prospective offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation from this website and for frequently monitoring that site for any amendments.
