Description
North Atlantic Regional Contracting Office (NARCO) intends to competitively award a firm-fixed priced, Non-Personal Services contract, for on-site, outpatient cardiology services at Ireland Army Community Hospital (IACH), Fort Knox, KY. The contract will be awarded for a base year with four consecutive options of one-year each. The total contract potential period is 5 years. Services will be at Ireland Army Community Hospital, Fort Knox, KY, who has a valid and continuing requirement for outpatien t cardiology services. Outpatient clinic appointments, echocardiography and cardiovasculare stress testing shall be a minimum of two-half days (either morning or afternoon) per week. Clinic days and treadmill stress testing will be scheduled on Wednesday s, Thursdays or Fridays, and clinic appointments are scheduled between the hours of 0800 and 1630. The required services include all physicians and support personnel required, i.e., physician assistants, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, nursing ass istants, medical technicians. Government will provide equipment for echocardiography and treadmill stress testing, and use of all available MTF facilities and support services, materials and space during the outpatient clinic appointments. Professional Q ualifications for Physician(s) includes a valid, unrestricted, license to practice medicine in the Commonwealth of Kentucky and current privileges at a TRICARE network hospital within the IACH Catchment area. Physicians shall have minimum of three years cu rrent experience within the past five years. Credentialing review/privileges will be conducted by the MTF no later than 30 calendar days after award for physician and support personnel. Technical proposals are required for submission to establish offeror s professional qualifications and capability to ensure contractors capability to perform the requirements, in addition to the priced offer and past performance. These written submissions will be used initially to establish the competitive range. The sol icitation is unrestricted. RELEASE of solicitation, W91YTZ-05-R-0005, has been scheduled on or about 26 Jan 05. Addendum to FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, in the solicitation will provide submission details and receipt of offer date.
