- This is a pre-solicitation synopsis. The actual RFP, with information and specifications will be available on the Gateway website (see instructions below) after January 25, 2005. Email Jeffrey.Lakin@DLA.MIL for info--------------- ***ITEMS: This is an acquisition for the following items: Insignia, Embroidered, Rank (Enlisted and Officer). Insignia will have a hook-fastener type backing. Solicitation will contain 22 different items (various ranks). NSNs: 8455-01-524-XXXX. Total Quantity: 517,375. Unit of issue is each. Deliveries will be made to Phoenix, AZ and New Cumberland, PA 90 days after award is made with two first article samples due 45 days after award. Award will contain one 100% option quantity for each item --------------------------- Availability of solicitations, FAR 5.102(d) applies, as our office no longer issues solicitations or amendments in paper form. Offeror should register to receive notification of this solicitation or solicitation amendments. --------------------INSTRUCTIONS FOR RETRIEVING SOLICITATION----------------- Copies of this solicitation can be found on the DLA Procurement Gateway (Gateway) at http://progate.daps.dla.mil/home after January 25, 2005. From the Gateway homepage, select ?Search RFPs? from the left-hand sidebar. Select ?Solicitation? and type the Solicitation number you wish to view (SP010005R0040). Click search. You must be registered in order to download RFPs. If you are not, you will be directed to register at time of download. In order to ensure e-mail notification of RFPs, prospective vendors MUST go to the RFP Information page and select DSCP Clothing & Textiles as the commodity center from which notices will be sent.
