Description

This synopsis is for the Alignment Device, Optical, P/N: 12984665, NSN: 4931-01-472-7329, for end item M109 Fire Control and will be solicited as a total HUBZone Set-Aside. This action will result in a firm fixed price award with a 100% option. DESC : The Alignment Device consists of a head and tube assembly machined from tube, aluminum alloy, seamless 5086, Type 1.133 or .179 thick. Base is made from aluminum alloy, sheet, 6061-T6. Inside the head are two retainers and optical instrument cell assem blies. Attached to the alignment device is a battery enclosure assembly, it is approximate 11 1/2 inches long X 4 inches wide X 4 inches thick. P/N 12984836 Board Assembly Regulator is Source Controlled to Seiler Instrument; P/N 12984810, Spring, Battery Contact is Source Controlled to Keystone Electronics Corp. and P/N 13005058, Switch, Pushbutton is Source Controlled to Otto Controls. FOB is Destination. The estimated date for the solicitation is 25 Jan 2005. This solicitation will be issued in accord ance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hardcopies will not be provided.
