Description

DESC: 1005-00-726-6131, Part Number 7266131, the item to procure is a Barrel used on the M2 .50 Cal Machine Gun. Overall length, 45.000 inches, rifle bore groove quantity 8; groove width 0.135 min, 0.140 max. Inside treatment, chromium QQ-C-320 Cla ss 2A, Barrel Rifling. Barrel P/N 716813, Barrel Liner P/N 7312560; liner retainer P/N 7312561; pin P/N 7265157. Heat-treating required with plating. Phosphate Coating required. Requirements are 1,000 each, M2 Barrel. The proposed contract will include a 100 percent option. Proposed solicitation is a 2-step partial small business set-aside. FOB is Origin. Estimated issue date is on or about 25 Feb 2005. This date is just an estimate. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance wit h FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTIO N: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto.
