Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared under the authority of FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items and in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The combined synopsis/solicitation number is W91CRB-05-T-0031. Requirement is for Helicopter Main Rotor Blades CLIN 0001, Item specifications Helicopter Main Blade of Metal Construction, 27 inch chord with an overall length of 227 inches. Blades must be metal, NOT composite. Blades must be painted black. NSN 1615-00-485-8047. Part Number 540-015-001-005. Four (4) each. This is a Foreign Military Sales Requirement, FMS Case TH-B-KWH; purchase request BTH05V5006E700. Delivery terms are F.O.B. Origin, Contractor's Facility. Quoted price should not include delivery. Shipping will be handled by the Freight Forwarder Rock-It-Cargo. Offerors must provide a delivery schedule with their proposal as well as the location for pick-up after bla des are painted. Immediate delivery is desired for all 4 items, however, offerors are encouraged to propose alternate delivery schedules if complete delivery cannot be met. Partial shipments are acceptable. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Off erors--Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated based on price and delivery schedule. While delivery is more important than price, award will be made to the offeror that prov ides the best delivery schedule for the best price.
