Description

This solicitation will result in a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity type contract in accordance with FAR 16.504. The minimum guaranteed contract quantity will be 1,900. Pawl, ammunition fee is used on the M240C Machine Gun. Pawl asse mbly is manufactured from various machined components, materials are 1050 to 1060 or 10L50 to 10L60 strip. Grain size 5 to 7 and 4140 or 4340 killed steel, grain size 5 to 8. ESTIMATED ISSUE DATE OF THE SOLICITATION IS 25 JANUARY 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102(a)(7) and 14.205-1(c) therefore hard copies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may downl oad it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments, which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. This procurement is 100% small business set-aside. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the Internet. Disclosure and use of the TDP will be restricted by a non-disclosure and non-use agreement that the offeror will execute prior to receipt of the TDP.
