Description

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Animal Health Inspection Service (APHIS), Miami Animal Import Center intends to issue a Request For Proposal (RFP) for animal bedding on a commercial indefinite quantity indefinite delivery basis. Supplies under the subject requirement consist of delivering fresh large kiln dried White Pine fragrant wood shavings to the Miami Animal Import Center, Miami FL on an monthly FOB destination basis. The shavings will serve as animal bedding. The pending contract will consist of one base year with four additional one year options. The quantity ceiling for each year of performance is a not to exceed amount of 12,000 30 pound bags. The award will utilize Firm Fixed Price per unit pricing. Numbered Note one applies to this acquisition. The Government will utilize a trade off selection process in determining the best value awardee. The NAICS code is 322110. The small business size standard is 750 employees, or less. The RFP 33-M-APHIS-05, is to be affixed to all documents submitted in reference to this requirement. Telephone requests will not be accepted. The Government intends to provide the solicitation and all amendments via this web site only. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO OFFEROR REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE FFEROR?S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALL FOR UPDATES.
