- NOTICE OF CONTRACT ACTION Sensors Technology Research, Development, Test & Evaluation Open ? Ended Broad Agency Announcement (STROEB), Call #012) ?"Integrated Demonstration and Applications Laboratory (IDAL) Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA) Low Frequency Transmitting Phased Array Technology Demonstrations. The objective of this program is to design, develop, demonstrate and characterize low frequency transmitting phased array technologies that can meet or exceed low frequency stand-off jamming performance challenges. The program shall consist of two demonstration phases that establish, at a minimum, the low frequency transmitting phased array technology base in terms of performance, maturity, challenges and risk areas. The demonstrations/measurements shall provide sufficient data to comprehensively characterize the performance/maturity of the array technology. In Phase I, the offeror will demonstrate the phased array?s operating capabilities in terms of frequency coverage, polarization, field of view and beam width/steering control at low power. The Phase II effort will incorporate transmit power modules and RF amplifiers for operation and demonstration of the array at the required higher power levels. The final BAA is anticipated to be released on or around 24 Jan 05 and will be available at www.fedbizopps.gov, under the Wright Research Site Opportunities located at http://www1.eps.gov/spg/USAF/AFMC/AFRLWRS/postdateToday_1.html These proposals are anticipated to have a expected due date of 3 Mar 05. Other business opportunities for the Air Force Research Laboratory are also available at www.fedbizopps.gov. Direct questions to the Contracting point of contact identified above in this announcement.
