Description

This is a combined snyopsis/solicitation for Commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquistion Regulations (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The Solicitation Number for this synopsis is 05SQ2500010, Maps showing delivery routes and delivery locations, and a Statement of Work will be attached to the solicitation. The solicitation is posted at this site. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This document and Incorporated clauses and provisions are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 01-26. NOTICE: The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 484220 (Specialized Freight [except used goods] trucking, Local) and is set aside for small businesses. STATEMENT OF WORK: provide all equipment and labor necessary for the delivery of ten thousand (10,000) uncompacted cubic yards of rock. The material is being provided by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) from their material pit (Indian Pit on Lower Klamath National Wildlife Refuge) located off of Lower Lake Road in Siskiyou County, California. The material will be loaded into the contractor's belly dump trucks, hereafter referrred to as "belly dumps," with a four (4 1/4) cubic yard loader provided and operated by the US Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) personnel. FWS will also supply and operate a bull dozer/grader at the delivery site to spread the delivery material. Project will start approximately March 21, 2005 and continue through April 20, 2005 or until specified quantity has been delivered. EVALUATION FACTORS FOR AWARD: Award of contract will be evaluated on price related factors and past performance.
