- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with addition information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government plans to issue a FFP contract for the acquisition of: (1) 5 ea X-Cooler Chiller Assembly, P/N: CFG-X-Cool-II-S; The X-Coller is a chiller unit that will be tested by the Air Force as a possible replacement for the current EC-III chiller units that have been fielded. Weight approximately 200 lbs, 12" H x 10" W x 14" L. (2) 5 ea Cryosecure Power Controllers, Model CRYOSECURE. The Power Controller provides protection to the chiller compressor unit in case of an unscheduled power outage, and should be used in areas where reliable power is not available. Weight approximately 1 lb, 3" H x 3" W x 3" L. Required delivery is 120 days after receipt of order. Partial shipments will be authorized and accepted. Delivery is required to be FOB Destination, Lackland AFB, San Antonio TX. This will be a firm fixed price contract and will be awarded utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The contractor shall extend to the Government the full coverage of commercial sale warranty provided such warranty is available at no additional cost to the Government. The Government will no longer accept nor process hard copies of Invoices/Receiving Reports. These documents must be generated electronically via the Wide Area Work Flow - Receipts and Acceptance (WAWF-RA). All packages and shipping papers shall be marked with the order number to permit effective processing and timely payment. To be eligible for award you must be properly registered in the Government's Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Offerors may obtain information on CCR registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the internet @www.ccr.gov. If a change occurs in this requirement, only those offerors that respond to this announcement within the required time frame will be provided any changes/amendments and considered for future discussions and/or award.
