Description

The Contractor shall provide labor and materials to renovate Room 16 in Building 200, BARC-East into a laboratory, located at the USDA, ARS, Beltsville, Maryland, in accordance with the Statement of Work, drawings, BARC Special Conditions and specifications. All work is to be completed within 90 calendar days following receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Magnitude of project is between $25,000 and $100,000. A site visit is scheduled for Tuesday, March 1, 2005, 10:00 a.m., meeting in front of Bldg 200, Beltsville, MD. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 238990 and the annual size standard is $12.0 million. This acquisition will be procured as a Hubzone set-aside, under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ), number PDF53023, using procedures from FAR Part 13?Simplified Acquisitions Procedures, and incorporating provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27. The solicitation is scheduled for issuance on or about Tuesday, February 15, 2005. The solicitation will be posted on the FedBizOpps website at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the contractor to check the website for the solicitation, as well as any amendments that may arise. All responsible sources may submit a written quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Quotations will be due Friday, March 18, 2005. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded to the responsible offeror who submits a quotation that is most advantageous to the Government. Anticipated award date is Wednesday, March 23, 2005.
