- NOTICE: THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY. The following item is being considered for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. Award of a one-year basic with two one-year options is anticipated. Multiple awards may be made. First Article Test will be required as applicable. The item listed below is coded ?1C?, indicating item is determined to be competitive; however, it requires engineering source approval by the design control activity. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) manages this item listed below: NSN: 2840-00-110-5966NY P/N: 9671M87G02 NOUN: Impellor, Air Oil Approved Sources: GE, Triumph Thermal Systems, Kerns MFG The function for the air/oil separator removes the oil from the sump vent air before the air is vented overboard. The separator consists of a fabricated sheet metal impeller with a cast magnesium housing mounted on the front of the forward transfer gearbox. The shape/size of the Impeller, Air Oil Separator is a cylindrical shape with different diameters and interior dimensions, approximately 8 inches in height and max diameter of 8 inches. This item is applicable to the TF39-Engine. The Tech data for all parts are available on The Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website www.fedteds.gov.
