Description
NOTICE: THIS SOLICITATION HAS BEEN CANCELLED IN ITS ENTIRETY. The following item is being considered for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. Award of a one-year basic with two one-year options is anticipated. Multiple awards may be made. First Article Test will be required as applicable. The item listed below is coded ?1C?, indicating item is determined to be competitive; however, it requires engineering source approval by the design control activity. Qualification requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) manages this item listed below: NSN: 2840-00-110-5966NY P/N: 9671M87G02 NOUN: Impellor, Air Oil Approved Sources: GE, Triumph Thermal Systems, Kerns MFG The function for the air/oil separator removes the oil from the sump vent air before the air is vented overboard. The separator consists of a fabricated sheet metal impeller with a cast magnesium housing mounted on the front of the forward transfer gearbox. The shape/size of the Impeller, Air Oil Separator is a cylindrical shape with different diameters and interior dimensions, approximately 8 inches in height and max diameter of 8 inches. This item is applicable to the TF39-Engine. The Tech data for all parts are available on The Federal Technical Data Solution (FedTeDS) website www.fedteds.gov. DELIVERY INFORMATION: NSN: 2840-00-110-5966NY Est. Delivery on or before: 30 Jun 06 Best Estimated Quantity (BEQ): 196 Minimum Quantity for Contract: 16 Maximum Quantity for Contract: 294 Option Year 1 BEQ: 68 Option Year 2 BEQ: 64 QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. Qualification requirements apply to all line items. APPROXIMATE DATE: Contractors shall refer to the actual solicitation for the exact closing date. The following dates are approximate: The issuance date of solicitation will be approx. 30 Nov 2004. The approximate response date of the solicitation will be 30 Dec 2005. The anticipated award date will be 29 January 2005. While price will be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price and past performance factors as detailed in the solicitation. An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of the concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
