Description

This is a synopsis for a commercial acquisition using simplified acquisition procedures (Reference FAR Part 12 and 13). THIS IS A SYNOPSIS AS REQUIRED BY FAR PART 5.2 ? THIS IS NO A REQUEST FOR QUOTE/PROPOSAL. VENDORS SHOULD NOT SUBMIT FORMAL QUOTES/PROPOSALS UNTIL THE RFQ/RFP IS POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE. 45 CONS/LGCBB has a requirement for compressed and liquefied gases (acetylene, argon, chlorine, nitrogen, technical oxygen, propane, argon, chlorine, nitrogen, freon, ammonia, breathing oxygen, sulfur hexafluoride and repair of cylinders). This service will be conducted at Patrick AFB, FL. Period of performance is 1 June 2005 thru 31 May 2010. The government intends to make a single award to the lowest priced, technically acceptable offeror. This proposed procurement is a 100% small business set-aside. Solicitation No. FA2521-04-T-0076 is issued as a Request for Quotation. It is advertised with a Standard Industrial Code (SIC) of 2813, business size of 1000 employees and a North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 325120. GSA Schedule holders for this item/service are encouraged to provide us with their GSA Schedule number. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be issued electronically on or about 27 January 2005. Proposals may be submitted via hard copy, at fax 321-494-5136 or 321-494-2706. HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED FOR ANY REASON. Anticipated award of a Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA) will be on or around 28 February 2005.
