Description
Corrected information is as follows: >NSN: 2E 1370-01-522-7580-LA42. >Base Quantity: 54,000 each. >Option Quantity 150% (potential): 81,000 each. >FOB Origin. >Except as modified or amplified in RFP this item contains class C explosives, explosive GFM. DFAR clause 252.223-7002, Safety Precautions For Ammunition and Explosives (May 1994) applies. >This Acquisition contains explosive Naval Ordnance items which require special security, safety and transportation clauses. The clauses may be found in Section I. >A Complete Pre Award Survey (including Safety) will be required. >Procurement is Unrestricted, Competitive and Classified Confidential. >Up to 150% Option Clause included, 30 days after date of First Article Test approval for CLIN 0002AB. >NOTE: This is an electronically formatted solicitation, available only on the NECO Web page. Paper copies of the solicitation are not available from the Navy. Certain computer programs may be required to view the solicitation and/or submit electronic offers. Do not send requests for the solicitation to the buyer. The solicitation will be available only on the web page no later than January 20, 2005. >Drawings for this requirement must be ordered through the Engineering Drawing Module via the NECO Website and will be mailed on a CD ROM. Viewing the drawings electronically on the WEB IS NOT possible for this requirement. You may view and/or download the solicitation only from that web page. >Timely delivery of the MJU-61/B Decoy Flare in accordance with the Delivery Schedule cited in Section F, Deliveries / Destinations is critical. Offerors who cannot comply with the Required Delivery Schedule or who take exception to the delivery schedule cited in the solicitation may be considered non-responsive and may not be considered for award of the contract. >The specification for this item is CLASSIFIED CONFIDENTIAL and can only be provided to manufacturers who currently possess the necessary clearance level and safeguarding level as required by the Defense Security Service. Upon verification with the Defense Security Service that the requesting manufacturer can comply with the necessary clearance level and safeguarding level required for this solicitation, a CD-ROM or Aperture Card containing the classified drawings / specifications will be mailed out. >Requests for the technical data package will be processed for the first two weeks after the solicitation Issue Date. Requests received after the first two weeks of the solicitation Issue Date cited in Block 5 of the SF 33, Page 1, will not be processed.
