Description

This is a notice of intent to negotiate a purchase order on a sole source basis with Transparent Language, Inc., 12 Murphy Drive, Nashua, NH 03062. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. The US Army Special Operations Command has a requirement to upgrade the Rapid Rapid Rote for Windows software application to version 3.5 and include all upgrades released during the Rapid Rote for Windows Upgrade Subscription period through 19 May 2008. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Responses are due no later than 2 February 2005, 2:00 PM EST. Interested organizations may submit information for consideration of their capabilities and qualifications to Ella Porter at portere @soc.mil.
