Description
Solicitation Period: 30 Days | Solicitation Issue Date: 02/07/05 | Solicitation Closing Date: 03/09/05 Item Description: Composite Light, Tail, Stop, Turn, & Marker, 24-Volt NSN 6220-01-093-4439 Procured in accordance with Army Drawing 19207 11614157 and Military Specification MS52125-2. First Article Testing is required per SQAP11614157. This heavy-duty taillight is used on various military vehicles and equipment such as the Bradley Fighting Vehicle, the Light Armored Vehicles, the 5-Ton trucks, and many others. The place of Government inspection and acceptance will be at origin. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. This solicitation is being issued with the intention of awarding an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The base term is two (2) years with an option that the Government may exercise annually to extend the contract up to three (3) additional one-year terms. The estimated annual quantity is 14,000 EA. This estimate is based on demand from past years and is not a guaranteed ordering quantity. Future demand may vary. Copies of the solicitation will be available on the solicitation issue date.
