Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) intends to negotiate on a sole source basis, with National Nuclear Corporation Limited, Cheshire England WA36B2 under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(B)(1), Soliciting From a Single Source, for Provision of National Nuclear Corporation Limited Training on Leak Sealing. This is a sole source requirement as National Nuclear Corporation Limited has provided services and supplies to NIST using their proprietary process sealing leaks in inaccessible and very high radiation areas of reactor systems. A firm fixed priced purchase order will be issued on or about January 31, 2004. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, in writing, no later than the response date. Written responses to this synopsis shall contain sufficient documentation to establish a bona fide capability to fulfill the requirement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ) nor is it a request for competition.
