NSN: 1615-01-023-0674; QTY: 91 each, PRON AX5T7013AX, APN: 540-011-153-17, applicable to the (BC) AH-1 AIRFRAME/POWER TRAIN UNIT. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 91 each, 314 Days After Contract Award (DA CA). The First Article Test Report is due 197 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 91 each, 209 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Deliveries are F.O.B. destination with delivery to Sterling, VA 20164-4497, Secaucus, NJ 07094-1617, an d Glen Burnie, MD 21061-3219. This is a Flight Safety Part. This item is restricted to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., Cage code: 97499. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalifications requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Comprehensive Automated Process for Source Approval Request (CAPSAR) and Policy relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation Requirements. All responsibl e sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stat ed above.
