Description

Provide parts, labor, and material to correct fire deficiencies in complete accordance with the statement of work. Work to be done in building 10 includes, but is not limited to, the installation of a new dry pipe sprinkler system for units 1 and 2, the construction of a fire exit, replacement of fire alarm annunciators, and the testing of sprinkler heads and piping. All work shall be in accordance with the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) standards. All work shall be performed no earlie r than 4:00 pm and clean up shall be completed by 6 am. It is estimated that the performance period for this project will be 60 calendar days. Wage Determination NY030002 (Modification 9) applies and will be included in the solicitation. Estimated cost is between $250,000 and $500,000 total; performance (100%) and payment (100%) bonds are required. Technical point of contact is Frank Mercurio, 518-266-3657. Site visit is required. Contractor is responsible to confirm all measurements and report any discrepancies to the contracting office with the quote. Solicitation will be issued on or about 9 February 2005.
