Description

Businesses having the ability to provide tape cartridge storage for 7,730 magnetic tape cartridges containing sensitive Indian trust data. Climate controlled storage must strictly conform to ANSI/NAPM IT9.23 standards. The facility must have security in place. The tapes are currently located in Albuquerque, NM and MUST remain in Albuquerque at this time due to the need of accessibility by Office of the Special Trustee for American Indians staff members in support of the on-going Cobell vs. Norton litigation. Interested parties shall provide a written notice containing a description on how they would provide the required service. This notice must address the climate conditions of the storage facility, security of the storage facility, and proximity to 1551 Mercantile NE, Albuquerque, NM. This information will be evaluated to determine if a competitive opportunity exists. All businesses responding to this synopsis shall submit information relating to their size status as calculated by the US Small Business Administration. The NAICS code for this service is 541611.
