Description

THE USCG MLCP in Alameda, CA proposes to contract for large area scan of CGC ANACAPA, a 110 ft patrol boat. All work will be accomplished in Ketchikan, AK during the period of 10 May through 16 May 2005. Contractor will be required to provide a device capable of scanning the exterior hull plate, to reveal any abnormal deterioration of hull plating. A Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on or about 17 Feb 2005. This acquisition is being set-aside for small business under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Attn: Minority, Womem Owned and Disadvantage Business Enterprises (DBE). The Department of Transportation (DOT) Minority, Office of Small and Disadvantaged Enterprises has programs to assist in acquiring short-term working capital for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program (STLP) at the prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
