Description

The GLAC (Great Lakes Acquisition Center) is soliciting quotations for labor, material, tools, equipment, supplies and services necessary or incidental to remove, transport, process and properly dispose of Radioactive Waste located at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, Chicago, IL. 60612 and for the VA Lakeside CBOC, Chicago IL. Anticipated period of performance is March 1, 2005 through September 30, 2005 with three (3), one-year option renewal periods, at the Government?s discretion. This is a Firm Fixed Price contract and this acquisition is small business set-aside. NACIS 562211. Contractors/vendors are required to hold a current NRC License and shall meet requirements as further defined within the specifications. Offerors are reminded to complete all sections of the solicitation, including the Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items. Anticipated award effective date is March 1, 2005. Electronic solicitation may be obtained FREE at the Federal Business Opportunities website: www.fedbizopps.gov Select ?Find Business Opportunities? and then enter the solicitation number. Requests for hard copy solicitation must be in writing to the GLAC Contact Point and accompanied by a check for $10.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs.
