Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Requirement is as follows: Stackable Washer / Dryer Unit (quantity 24) Description: Stackable; Simultaneous operation (both washer and dryer can operate at same time); Non-coin operated; Commercial grade; Electrical (not gas); Prefer white color; Dimensions for combined washer and d ryer: (width not to exceed 27 inches, depth not to exceed 30 inches, height not to exceed 75 inches); Washer Electrical Specifications: (120 Volt / 60 Hertz / single phase; 15 AMP; 3 prong grounding plug; 3 wire); Dryer Electrical Specifications: (250 V olt / 60 Hertz / singled phase; 30 AMP; Cord between 4-6 feet; 3 wire; #10 A.W.G. copper wire only); Washer Specifications: (minimum of three cycles (delicate, regular, permanent press) and minimum of three water temperatures (hot/cold; cold/cold; warm/c old or warm/warm)); Dryer Specifications: (minimum of three cycles (timed ; regular; permanent press/knits)). Universal angle plug (quantity 64) Description: 30 AMP; 250 Volt; with wide flat blade; 2 pole, 3 wire grounding; NEMA 6-30P Dryer Power Cord (quantity 64) Description: 30 AMP; 250 Volt / 3 wire / 60 Hertz; #10 A.W.G. copper wire only; single phase Deliver to 8998 Blount Island Road, Jacksonville, Florida 32226 no later than 23 March 2005.
